PindurTI is the latest addition to the TI emulator 'familiy'. It is the only emulator with accurate 83(+) emulation and has some unique features aswell. However note that this emulator is still in development. This means that information on this page can change aswell as be incorrect.
Features
- Full support for 82 and 83. 83+ support isn't complete yet, but it's already the most accurate of all emulators.
- Virtual Linking of two calcs.
- Built-in (animated) screenshot-tool.
- Built-in advanced debug tool.
- Scripting for external tools (preliminary in the latest version), which is already used by LateNite
If you have ideas you want to incorporate in the tool, you can submit your ideas at the Pindur TI idea box. Repetitions and trivialities are frowned upon.
Help
At the moment of writing PindurTI has no graphical user interface (GUI) yet. Therefore it can be a little complicated to use it. Here you can find some help:
Starting and Initialize PTI
1. Double-click on pindurti.exe.
2. Drag-and-drop your calc-rom (mostly a .rom) to the PindurTI window.
3. Click left on the PindurTI window to turn the 'power' of the calc on.
Sending files to PTI
1. Start PTI.
2. Drag-and-drop the file (mostly a .83P or .8XP) to the PindurTI window.
Other functions
Screenshots: Press 'tab' to start capturing and press 'tab' again to stop it.
Reset ROM: Press F9 to reset the rom.
Debug: Press F10 to reveal the debugger. Note that it always shows the state of the calculator in the left slot.
Warp mode: Press F11 to switch to warp mode (fastest possible emulation).
Virtual linking: Press F12 to establish and disconnect a raw link between the two emulated calculators.
