This field holds the date that the app should no longer be validated on a calculator. It is stored as seconds after midnight on 1/1/1997 in big endian.

This really is a terrible system for validating apps. The date is stored in the [[83Plus:OS:Certificate/Headers:Fields:032|032 field]] of the certificate and never gets updated unless you actually update it. As of writing this in 2011, my calculator has a date stamp of 3/8/1997. That is not going to reject a single app.
