Bit Overview

Bit 0

Unofficial Name: DateFlag1

This bit and bit 1 control the date notation, see bit 1 for more information.

Bit 1

Unofficial Name: Dateflag2

This bit and bit 0 control the date notation. If bit 0 is set: reset for D/M/Y, set for Y/M/D. If bit 0 is reset: reset for M/D/Y, when set M/D/Y notation is used but neither M/D/Y, D/M/Y or Y/M/D appear selected in 'set clock' menu.

Bit 2

Unofficial Name: TimeFlag

This bit controls the time notation. Reset for 12 hour notation, Set for 24 hour notation.

Bit 3

Unofficial Name: AM/PMFlag

This bit is only reliable when bit 2 reset and when the 'set clock' menu is open. Reset for AM, set for PM

Bit 4

We do not have information on what this bit does, if anything.

Bit 5

We do not have information on what this bit does, if anything.

Bit 6

Unofficial Name: ClockOnFlag

This bit controls whether the clock is active. Set if the clock is on, reset if the clock is off. This bit doesn't tell whether ports 45h-48h are active, it only tells whether the OS considers the clock active.

Bit 7

We do not have information on what this bit does, if anything.

Comments

This only applies to the TI-84 plus (SE), on the TI-83 plus (SE) these flags seem to do absolutely nothing.
