Not to be confused with the American version of this hardware, the TI-84 Plus CE.

  • The TI-83 Premium has OS code to test if flash sectors are hardware-locked, so it's possible TI is planning to keep the boot code ROMed like the TI-84 Plus C SE. However, testing units do not have locked boot code (which is, of course, a useful debugging feature for TI's engineer's).
  • The TI-83 Premium has an exact math engine
  • Hardware nearly identical to the TI-84 Plus CE
