::You're probably right that they're supposed to be for future use. It was my understanding that boot code 1.00 on any calculator wouldn't have these higher BCALLs. These routines DO NOT EXIST on boot code 1.00, only 1.02 and above.

I'm pretty sure that's not correct. Are you sure you're not looking at an 83+ boot code 1.00 rather than an 84+ boot code 1.00?
