Talk:83Plus:Ports:29

I'm not sure if this is correct. From what I can tell it adds a delay not removes them. The equation I figure was Contents $29 divided by 4 equal tstates added. That seems to coincide with you equation some.

The contents of this port seem to be $14 on the 83+SE and $17 on the 84+se, I did a poll on the maxcoderz board, Gambit helped Alot.

Last bits 0-1 affect the cpu speed port $2e some how. When there set and port $2e is set slower, it slows the CPU, if port $29 bits are reset and $2e are set, then the speed is unaffected.

The only reason I don't want to just edit is because I would prefer to confrim this. This is first time I used a Wiki, I hope I did it right.

More info about what the parent is refering to here. Maybe somebody should release a test program (with source of course) so this can be cleared up once and for all. --Kalimero 15:10, 12 Apr 2005 (PDT)

I'll link my source and programs to that page later. Sorry for being a wiki noob. --Jim e
